TAHOE’S PREMIER FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL IS SEPTEMBER 9-11
Wine loving couples will find another excellent excuse for a day trip or weekender during the 26th Annual Lake Tahoe Autumn Food and Wine Festival.
Many consider this as Lake Tahoe’s premier gourmet event. Scheduled for September 9-11 at the Village at Northstar in Truckee, California, it’s back even bigger and better than in previous years.
With bright blue sky days and cool, crisp nights, mid September is one of the loveliest times of year to plan a romantic getaway in this world famous alpine paradise.
Foodies and hungry road-tripping couples can return to the charming cobbled streets at the Village at Northstar for friendly chef battles, free outdoor grilling demonstrations, a celebrity chef luncheon, along with gourmet marketplace vendor fair, grape stomp, wine walk, art and sculpture exhibit, winemaker dinners, and even live entertainment.
Food and wine pairing seminars will be a highlight. Most of these events are held outside with North Lake Tahoe’s spectacular fall foliage as a backdrop. Fall being one of the most gorgeous times of year to enjoy the romantic beauty of the area, this event it sure to create the perfect marriage of Tahoe’s splendor and gourmet delights.

Adding to the significance of this event, The Lake Tahoe Autumn Food and Wine Festival is a fundraiser for the Community Fund of North Lake Tahoe through the Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation.
North Lake Tahoe is located a beautiful 45-minute drive from the Reno Tahoe International Airport, and a scenic two hours from Sacramento International Airport. Lake Tahoe is also just over three hours from San Francisco International Airport.
